Quotations: Citations of texts by someone that one considers
interesting for some reason. This
Philosophical Dictionary
eventually will contain a fairly substantive list of quotations I like,
for various reasons, mostly but not exclusively based on the literature
listed below, that contains selections by others based on their reading, one
suspects also in part from books of quotation.
They are contained in their own files by letter and subject. The
files are linked. By the way: The fact that I quote something or someone
does not necessarily mean that I agree with the quotation or like the
person quoted or admire his ideas.
New:
There now is a simple quotation-server available that serves - at
present - 500 quotations randomly, 1 at the time. It is called
WoW.
It comes as a zipped file that
expands to an executable (for Windows only) plus a small textfile. The
executable contains the quotes and serves them, and was written in
assembler. The textfile explains some.
The quotes were all taken from the
section Quotations.
