me + ME: Be your Be-ing for hav-ing Wellness - Cort's Whee-Whee explained

There's a sucker born every minute.
     -- P.T. Barnum

More about ME and some about me, with a small introduction about how I got almost cured and nearly into a state of perfect bliss, happiness, relief and satori:

1. A state of perfect bliss, happiness, relief and satori
2. Be-coming a me-less be-ing Be-ing through stopping thinking

1. A state of perfect bliss, happiness, relief and satori

Originally, I had planned to write a litte more about malevolence that I wrote yesterday about, but then I got flooded by Wellness Bringing Be-ing, as presented and propounded by my great friend Cort Johnson, The Creator Of Phoenix-Rising - no less - and a long time spiritual seeker, deep researcher of the amygdala, student, follower and devotee of EST (Be-ing, in Latin, among other things), besides be-ing, of course, a "thin-ker" of genius.

So you will understand if for the moment I enter into the be-ing of my Be-ing, deeply moved as I am by Our Leader Cort's great thoughts, so chrystal clear in expression, and so profound in meaning, that I could not prevent the be-coming into Be-ing of my own be-ing, and felt moved to roll my own, inspired by unfathomable depths that Our Leader has just published on Phoenix Rising, to the everlasting Be-nefit of all Be-ings.

It is called

and since I too studied philosophy, here is my take on it, that I invite you to compare with Our Leader's Great Thinking Being:

2.   Be-coming of a me-less be-ing Be-ing through stopping thinking

For non-philosophers:
See below: Textual note
for an explanation of my
exalted philosophical
prose style

What is 'thin-king'? It’s very simple - almost too simple; it's just what it appears to be - it's just thin-king - it's the royal place present just before thought… a place of absence (Nicht-Da-Sein) and Nothingness that spiritual practitioners (and philosophers) assert "is" who we 'real-ly' "are" - an infinite loop of mind-blowing bo-go-satori-all Be-ing. When we are just thin-king in the moment things and thinks come na-ture-real-ly….things they flow more... thoughts they glow more... mind/bodies they grow more... brain/minds they know more....If you’re an athlete and you inhabit be-ing you’re a star…if you're unhealthy and you inhabit being - you are at peace: It is All up to You! You can be Being-Happy if you Really-Truly-Really want! Also with "chronic fatigue disorder"! Evidence Based Soul-healing (TM) proved! Be-ing is! All in ur brain/mind/body/soul!

Evidence Based Research suggests, however, that there is probably not a lot of 'be-ing' in chronic fatigue syndrome, and much too much thinking.

Evidence Based Research has proved that the "brains" of people with ME/CFS have difficulty shutting off "innocuous" "stimuli" such as "background' "noise". Other Evidence Based Research suggests that "problems" with the "plan-ning mecha-nisms" may make it "work" harder to plan movement. Others suggest neural networks may not be working as efficiently, transparently, crucially and optimally as they should be…..Evidence Based Findings of increased "sympathetic nervous system activity" ("fight" or "flight") suggest that just ‘be-ing’ is hardly a priority. With problems such as these the state of grace of simply be-ing Be-ing becomes harder and harder to come by: The "thinking" of the "brains" of "people" with ME/CFS is dysfunctional as regards the be-coming of a be-ing Be-ing, yea verily!

That’s acerbated by the situations we lack coping capacities for, that quite naturally throws dysfunctional believers with "chronic fatigue disorder" into being mental than be-ing Be-ing: frustration, anger, sadness and fear became the inevitable lot of those who think too much and forget about be-ing Be-ing. It's the fault of our "civilization": So little emphasis is placed on be-ing Be-ing that we all forget about just be-ing Being and be-come our "thinking"; our "goals", our "anger", our "frustration", our "hopes", our "sadnesses" all e-clipse our be-ing Be-ing... (One of the options of be-ing Being is not thinking about be-ing Being!). Our not be-ing into Be-ing, i.e. our dysfunctional thinking makes PWCs angry, sad or frustrated - and the longer and more angry, sad, frustrated PWCs are - the more that is there own do-ing. Spiritual Seekers know, however, that is not the Be-ing who we are...

We are be-ing Being - a plenitudinal place of godlike grace and serene space. This being-log is a journey away from our dysfunctional thinking - that keeps us ill and from the blissful be-ing of Be-ing thoughlessly in the blessed pure bliss of pure Be-ing - and towards be-ing Be-ing - that plenitudinal place of godlike grace and serene space, that's open to all of us who are cognitively challenged spiritual enough to give up our dysfunctional belief patterns that keep us from the unfathomable bliss of be-ing Be-ing, pure, simple, thoughtless, purefied from "analyticity", "rationality" and indeed all "thinking" (very unwholesome and unproductive as that is for any homo sapiens, as we all know).

One of the "thinks" that has helped me see the be-ing of Be-ing is drawing 'distinctions' - and here it is possible to draw a dis-tinction be-tween be-ing Being and being thinking. This allows me to be-come the Being of the dis-tinction between when the real me is 'be-ing Be-ing' and when my "me" is merely 'thinking' myself ill. Happily for my state of bliss, normally blissfull be-ing Be-ing wins out hands down over 'thinking': It's much more peaceful and happy just being Be-ing than to think! ("Death, sleep, non-thinking is the cure of all thought of disease - Sir Thomas Browning.")

While fighting with "chronic fatigue disorder" I was thinking; while thinking I was not be-ing Be-ing; and - as we all know or ought to know in Our Community - since Be-ing = Qua-lity of life (obviously, evidently, clearly, undubitably!) my thinking dysfunctioned and kept me from be-ing the be-ing Be-ing this be-ing could be, thoughtlessly. We all "think" that with the right "health", the right "job", the right "family", the right "toys" and frequent shows of "respect" to our neighbours we will be "happy". What if our body is be-ing not be-ing well?! Or what if our limbs are hacked off with a chainsaw? Or X or Y?! Ought we then lack wellness?! According to people who are into be-ing Be-ing - absolutely not!

There is hope and there is a cure: Stop thinking! Be Be-ing! Be Well! It's All In Your Mind: Be your Be-ing - Stop dysfunctional "thinking"! Are you just be-ing Be-ing in the be-coming Now (The Eternal Moment) or are you dysfunctionally thinking yourself unwell...."That's the question: To be or not to be". Looking at the distinction in everyday life of be-ing vs thinking can be quite helpful....Am I be-ing or am I thinking? It's all about bringing you back to where you belong: not thinking, be-ing Be-ing Here And Now.... the less you think, the better you Be, naturally.

In everyone is a large empty space full of Blissful Be-ing, that's just be-ing Be-ing without one iota of dysfunctional "thinking". You too can be Well through be-ing Be-ing...it's slow...it takes time.....but if you keep at it - if you keep the drips coming it does accumulate and it does fill up, with the Nothing whose Be-ing is All :)

These blogs will focus on my attempt to access be-ing, so to speak, as I read different books and try different exercises.

Ignorance = Bliss; Non-thinking = Heaven.

P.S. O ye scoffers! Is nothing holy these days?! And if you think someone is talking utter crap and nonsense, why be so disrespectful to say so, ye evil meanies?

If someone wants to write in crazy grammar, abuse ludicrous terminology derived from an obscure Nazi-philosopher, make nonsensical and false assertions, indulge in fallacies galore, and has a nearly insane pretension his manner of writing and thinking will help anyone to anything else than confusion - let him be!

So what if what Our Leader says is straight out of the cookbook for alternative conmanship? So what if he writes total baloney? His community will love and admire him, and the more so the less they understand of it - and he says he is made happy by his vain thinking blissful be-ing: Why do you upset his blissfulness? Let it be!

Textual note: Dutchies can consult my Een moment van verlichting  (A moment of enlightenment), where I take on "a real pro" (as he would like to think, and indeed is paid as), namely the cross between a pseudo-marxist and a pomo-careerist that styles itself professor Paul Scheffers, presently Leading Thinker of Dutch Labour, and before that Revolutionary Marxist Professor at the Radboud Universiteit Nijmegen, then Professor of City Development at the University of Amsterdam, and a fool and a fraud.

But even when you read Dutch, you don't understand all, which I here summarize for you, so that you too can be a Pomo Philosopher too, and become rich and famous by writing bullshit that combines crappiness with unreadability:

  • From Heidegger, one steals (i) the trick of hyphenating all manner of words, that thereby look at least twice as profound, and (ii) the trick of making any words whatsoever into a noun or a verb, on the pattern of (true quotation!) "The Nothing nothings" - which Heidegger pretended to be a deep insight he had found.

  • Again from Heidegger, one steals (iii) the trick of writing in an almost unbearably unreadable language, chockful with seeming profundities and very large claims and promises, and (iv) the trick of never being particular or logical about anything whatsoever (except one's claims to tenure and salary). For more on Heidegger, see Carlin Romano's fine "Heil Heidegger" (end of 2009), that I wrote about in Heidegger aan diggelen.

  • From Foucault, Lacan, Kristeva, Lyotard, Derrida and Althusser, especially, one steals, next to arbitrary hyphenation and capitalization of words the more subtle tricks of (v) italicing words or parts of words to start a refined philosophical game about whether "class-struggle", class-struggle, "class-struggle", 'class struggle' and "class struggle" mean the same in Altusser and Lyotard and in Marx, that impresses many for its profundities (*) (vi) quoting the most abstruse prose and using the most farfetched terminology to appear to be of an effective unfathomable depth of genius, and (vii) never explain anything whatsoever: always pretend that your readers know and understand and agree to whatever crazy talk you spout, and regularly use "as we all know" (truth does not exist), "anybody can see" (2+2 = 22), "it is evident" (that the szyzygy is a suture of two joints of a crinoid), since most won't see through it anyway, and very few of those who do will protest. You're safe! It worked for 25 centuries, so far! Mundus vult decipi!  (See my Studies in MEdical Sadism - 4: Intermezzo - Lucian).

Finally the basic lesson to write popular but profound philosophy that sells to the masses:

  • From the Fathers of the Church, the Protestant theologians and Heidegger and Postmodernism one steals (viii) the trick of saying most things preferably in hermeneutic language composed of oxymorons and hardly known abstract terms, that are also used in non-standard - "new" - senses: "In the icecold heat of his non-thinking thinking, our heroic Heidegger insisted that the be-ing of white is the be-ing of black if the Führer does not assert he did not cogitate that this be-ing is a non-be-ing (for clearly, then the nothing nothings the appearance of a be-ing in contra-diction)."

So... for more along these enlightening lines, see my Morningstar shines a bright light on postmodernism and The Postmodernism Generator for how Cort-Heidegger-pomo prose can be produced by the bucket, gratis also, and of astounding depth.

Whether one can trust a mind like Cort's to lead a movement of genuinely ill people who defend themselves against the aspersions that they are mentally ill, or why someone in his position keeps going on and on and on and on about the sheerest psychobabble crap, I leave to your consideration, but I refer him and you to this font of wisdom, that I soon expect to see on Phoenix Rising:

There you'll also find a Cortean Recipe for Finding Health: It's all in your mind. Here is a little bit of The Way, to be-come a be-ing Be-ing, mens sano in corpore sano, also:

Love yourself! Deeply, profoundly! Make lists of all the wonderful things about you. Add to it every day.

Free yourself of any past resentments or disappointments you may be holding about you.

Let go of any and all resentments from the past you may be holding of everyone and everything.

See yourself as completely well in your mind and visualize yourself doing things in a complete state of perfect health.

Do not speak of your illness, or disease with others.

Love and appreciate everything and everyone, and especially yourself.

Know you have the power within you to heal yourself.

(...)

Make your happiness the number one thing in your life.

Resist nothing, love everything!

Know that there is no such thing as incurable.

As you love completely and feel the joy within you, disease cannot exist.

Know and accept that you are perfect as you are right now.

Now how could you possibly not agree, dear reader?! What utterly sick minds would want to insist wishful thinking may not be good for you?! Everybody knows it works: Imagine it is true, and hey presto: it must be true! Imaginatively so, but then again, life is a dream anyway, right? And imagining it is so, is most of the pleasure of it being so, right?! The joy is in the journey, not in reaching the goal?!

I mean: It is completely clear to me that you - anyone of my readers, dear readers: Yes, You! - are the most lovable and most wonderful person in the entire universe, isn't it? And that I never lie? It is evidently clear - lesson of history! - that simply by thinking alone you can get to the be-ing of your Be-ing, and solve all your problems, isn't it? And isn't it chrystal clear that if you don't mention your cancers to anyone they can't possibly exist? Esse est percipi, isn't it, as Bishop Berkeley taught us all?! And that you - Yes, You! - really must love Hitler, Eichmann and the 9/11 bombers, besides the mayor of the city where you live, and your prime minister or president, plus your neighbour's wife, for else you must and ought to remain miserable in your tiny overly refined sick "mind"?

For you and I and Cort just know that you and I and he just know  that you - yes: YOU! -have The Power Within You to Heal yourself into Wellness: You merely should wish it, and if you wish well, you will get it. Promise! Cross my heart! (And if you don't get it, you didn't wish well: Tails I win, heads you loose.)

For more liberating wellness-bringing thinking:

I hope this will bring enlightenment to many! Thank you!

(*) In the style of: The being of being is the be-ing of be-coming, but the being of the being of being is not rightly a be-ing although - clearly - it is a be-coming, until, of course, the nothing no-things the onto-logy of this hegemonic epistemo-logy, dialectically, as Hegel taught us all, as we all know. Now clearly, the epistemology of the hegemony of the capitalist ontology annihilates the im-Frage-stellen (questioning, critiqueing) of the critique of the be-coming of the gender-role specificity. Therefore... (here we imagine Monty Python's foot from high heaven.)

For infinitely more of the same: The Postmodernism Generator. (I am not a professor of philosophy because while I can write this baloney as if it makes sense at top speed - almost as fast as Derrida could talk, I fear - I refused to do so, through my own despicable arrogance, no doubt.)

"Ah me! alas, pain, pain ever, forever!

No change, no pause, no hope! Yet I endure.
I ask the Earth, have not the mountains felt?
I ask yon Heaven, the all-beholding Sun,
Has it not seen? The Sea, in storm or calm,
Heaven's ever-changing Shadow, spread below,
Have its deaf waves not heard my agony?
Ah me! alas, pain, pain ever, forever!
