ME + me: The past year of ME + me - some that I learned - 2


I continue being not well, and otherwise also as before, so I cannot do much. Also, I have meanwhile translated my father's memories from the concentration-camps he was in as a German political prisoner, but for today I have something else, namely the successor to ME + me: The past year of ME + me - some that I learned.

This comes from reviewing my file about what's new on the site (that's still to be updated with this file ) because I wanted to provide myself and others with some overview of what I had written in Nederlog about ME this year. It's all in temporal order and most links have some comments. It's also most of what I wrote this year, and it shows and explains at various places what I have learned, about ME, medicine, patients with ME, ME-forums, medical science, and a number of persons involved with ME-forums or ME-advocacy.

Note that what follows is a selection from what I wrote in Nederlog, and my selection is mostly oriented around ME.

JANUARY: On January 7 I became a member of the Phoenix-Rising forums (PR-F), that I had found out about in October 2009, in the context of the XMRV-news. After that, most of NL for 2010 is in English and about ME. (By contrast, NL had been mostly in Dutch since its beginning.

So in fact NL for 2010 charts my opinions on ME after this discovery, when I also learned I had missed a lot the previous 20 years, and also charts my presence on and then withdrawal from two American forums for patients with ME.

Most of this month is like the previous years 2006-2009 with Nederlog (NL), but in Jan 16 I change tack and start writing mostly for and about PR-F and ME and in English as well, rather than in Dutch, that so few read.

FEBRUARY: Most of the time in this month I was off line because my computer stopped working, and I had no health or money to do anything about it.

  • Feb 22: Weer on line na drie weken
    On line again, after having been off line for three weeks, due to a cable-failure (in the setup of my computer).

  • Feb 23: A note on miracles
    Here I became aware some VERY strange things were going on in PR-F: A newbie arrived from England, claimed to be A Christian, claimed an IQ of 145, claimed to have ME since a few months - and was nearly immediately made moderator, after which she claimed, in public, on PR-F, that she had been cured from ME by a miracle, in a prayer meeting, an insane or conwoman-claim strongly supported by the pseudo-scientific conman and moderator dr. Kurt, who wrote me a stunningly and stinkingly morally evil private mail: A moral and intellectual degenerate. This also showed me what moderation was like on PR-F: Very flawed, very biased, quite dishonest. (Except for _Kim_ who was excellent, but who was removed by the other administrators and mpderators, very probably because of her excellencies. This too happened in February.)

    Bureaucratic degenerates administrating the former Concentration-camp Amersfoort, where my father and grandfather have been locked up as political prisoners ('terrorists') in WW II, have found my father's writings on my site and claim it in a sickeningly impolite, impertinent fashion. I do not reply but do write the above.
     

MARCH: I contributed rather a lot to the Phoenix-Forums about ME. The March 21 NL turned out to be rather prescient, a few months later: In fact, one can't do advocacy on an ME-forum with a majority of ordinary men and women, without a good scientific education, while it also is actively trolled, and one is not even allowed to discuss that by moderators.

APRIL: Again I contributed a lot to the Phoenix-forums, but with growing amazement, especially as regards The Owner And Creator Cort Johnson's stances on exercise as therapy for persons with ME; on the usefulness of Amygdala Retraining; on the qualities of the US CAA (which is supposed to work for patients with ME, and possibly does to some extent, but that also advertises professor White's opinions and person - an English pseudoscientific psychiatric freak - and whose CEO since 20 years Kim Cleary receives a yearly  income higher than the Dutch PM for her efforts); and finally on the ownership of posts of members on Phoenix Rising and the style of moderating of its moderators.

    Some useful and some funny links in the first bit, and some Dutch satire the Dutch won't read because the Dutch know their country and their people are the acme of perfection. (It is seriously true that many of the Dutch have for decades maintained that they have the moral leadership in the West, because of their excellent morality. This only stopped after the Srebrenica-massacre.)

    My evaluation of Dutch professores Bleijenberg and Van der Meer, completely in line with what I learned at the University of Amsterdam, which was this: "All men are equal" (to Eichmann and Einstein, but this was not added, except by me, and then I was called 'fascist' from diverse anonymous directions: Dutch mores in Dutch everyday practice.)

    This starts the subject in the title and also has an answer to somebody who probably is Dutch but doesn't want to say so, but anyway of the typically Dutch morally sick and depraved pomo-school: "Everybody should respect everybody" (You Hitler, me Eichmann, and so on: R-E-S-P-E-C-T! My own opinion is that you can do this honestly if you know you are a nobody of no talents whatsoever, but then I did read psychology, and Nietzsche too.)

    This comes mostly from PR-F and is mostly by Orla, who found and commented some truly shocking sadistic antics by Wessely, also totally uncalled for, and totally useless except by one who loves to hurt others.

    Dr. Myhill is an English medical doctor who behaves like a real medical doctor should, and helped a lot of patients with ME. Therefore, the British General Medical Council, a kind of Star Chamber of Wesselytes, took her permission to practice from her, also on the basis of anonymous groundless accusations (in October revealed to be by some medical sado-creep called Stuart Jones).

    There are and were a number of fairly to very obvious trolls on the PR-F forums: Esther12 and Mark the moderator, criticized here (and Marky, who either has issues or is a Wesselyte had his revenge within 3 weeks, as you'll see: He is such a type); Eric_Johnson_from_I&I and eric_s from Switzerland; Awol and Kurt and FreePrisoner... but Cort The Owner, whose good friend is dr. Kurt the military relativist and dumbo-freak, does not even want to allow discussions of trolling on "his" site, and the only other ones who see what I see are all highly educated and highly intelligent and quite honest, and so in a small minority. In brief: Trolling continued and continues.

    About a good video about ME made by StarryEyes. (There are more videos about ME on Youtube, some good, but most do not tell a new story if one has ME and read about it, whereas almost everyone who does not have ME does not watch these videos. Even so, this is worthwile and may help some, notably to explain one is really ill to family members and friends.)

    Cort The Owner claimed he owns (or 'owns') the posts of the members. I found that a pretty ludicrous claim, and also in contradiction with such rights as I have under Dutch law about the products of my own mind: They are mine, even if I am kind enough to put them on a place were many ill people can read them.)

MAY: On May 4 and 5, the Dutch National Days of commemoration for the deaths of WW II and the liberation from Nazi-occupation in May 1945, I get what seems a very carefully crafted attack from three directions simultaneously by (1) an apparently anti-semitic or else mentally diseased PR-F moderator or possible KCL-troll who manages to verbally throw my circumcised male organ in my face on May 4, the sixtieth Dutch Day of Commemoration of the victims of WW II (2) a trolling total intellectual incompetent who insists in effect that science should be abandoned for his sake so that he can write interminable amounts of bullshit about it, and who insists, anonymously, without revealing his qualifications for saying anything, that I should respect, respect, respect and respect his type of human being and his type of ludicrous irrational arguments and (3) what turns out a few months later to be very probably a morally sick, intellectually degenerate and personally fascistoic or sadistic personal assistant and collaborator of the Dutch psychotherapeutic freak Bleijenberg, who dares, as a typically Dutch Whore of Reason, to publicly insist that I offend the Dutch and that I have no right to write about concentration-camps.

At first, on May 6, I stop writing on PR-F, since I feel cruelly and willfully and sadistically abused and slandered by rotters. Excuses there are none. The Owner And Creator Of The Forums Cort Johnson pretends not to understand what I am mailing to him.

Meanwhile, for reasons having nothing to do with me, but with the style of moderating on PR-F and the personal opinions of Cort Johnson on the merits of the CAA, on exercising and on amygdala retraining, conflicts arise on PR-F which the moderators than try to suppress by extra-ordinary abusive "moderation" of persons they personally dislike around May 23.

This has nothing to do with me, but it nauseates me and I conclude I don't want to be associated with a site where applied SM is practised on ill people by doubtfully ill moderators preceded by public fascistic discrimination of my person, and pull all my posts and never write on PR-F again:

JUNE: Around May 25 I am told a new forum is being created by the former administrator and moderator of PR-F known as _Kim_ who I like and respect (reasonably, not as a PC hypocrite) a lot, since she seems to have a fine mind, a fine character, and a clear and helpful prose style, and also by quite a few others, mostly Americans, who had been abused and upset the previous months by what happened on PR-F, and who were for the most part forbidden by moderators much less qualified to write than they, to write about what worried them on PR-F, with effectively totalitarian arguments ("trust your site-leaders!", "our leaders know best!", "we are all but guests in Cort's House!", "you should respect, respect, respect, respect, respect - the unutterably crapulous, because it was written by an anonymous poster, who is One of Us").

The new forum was the MECFS-forum, originally started by _Kim_ and by a creature that calls itself CFS_Since_1998. I am soon invited to be a member and accept, but cannot access the ME-F until the beginning of June, apparently because CFS_Since_1998 does not like me at all for some reason or because he, she or it fears my satirical talents.

In any case, on June 5 _Kim_ announces publicly that she withdraws from ME-F as admininstrator, as moderator and as member, and seems gravely upset, and apparently has been abused by CFS_Since_1998, who does the same to others on ME-F.

It also turns out that CFS_Since_1998 is a sick sort of bully of precisely the same  psychological type as most of the moderators on PR-F, who bullies other members (not me: Shrewsbury) who try to do all they can to get ME-F reasonably started; and doesn't believe in discussion (why should he, having just gotten the power and having just ousted someone who is far more capable, moral and rational than he possibly could be?) The ME-F almost explodes, and it also turns out only very few are really willing or capable to debate rationally about how to create a better forum than PR-F: They want to play forum and cosily socialize, rather than create a good forum with good rules and good moderators, and indeed hardly anyone formulates as much as a clear idea.

After a while things get partially mended on ME-F, and a new moderator appears out of nowhere, one Patricia Carter aka Wildaisy, who seems at that point, from her 90 to 100 postings on PR-F, a 50/50 case of a CDC-troll. She is a lawyer - or claims to be one, at least, later modified to having been one - and invites all manner of people on ME-F from PR-F that shouldn't be there, including what seems to me to be a fascistic assistent of Bleijenberg and also of moderators from PR-F, and also the Nietzschean nut-case and troll 'Eric_Johnson_from_I&I'. She refuses to discuss this with me, pleading that "I have no moderators" and behaves as if she is The Boss who does not owe other people any politeness or any answers, and in particular not me, rather a lot like Dr. Kurt on PR-F, in personal tone in PM to me also.

    This is mostly by way of introduction to my On Politics, that I wrote in 1983 and not put on line. It explains a number of differences between myself and the vast majority of the people I have known, who were nearly all far more interested in politics than in science (with me the other way around), and also pretended or really believed "everybody is equal", which to me is offensive bullshit uttered forth by the least deserving, least respectable or most cunning and least honest manipulators and flatterers.     I had pulled all my posts from PR-F, and put them on my site. The Dutch piece is on the modes and styles in which the Dutch are lied to without cease by their bureaucrats and politicians: Everything is propaganda intentionally aimed at the majority of the lowly gifted voters. It is advertisement and PR, not decent rational information for a public of rational people.

I can see he has to eat and to live, but I don't like ads, and what I object to is that he imposes these things without any discussion on more than 2000 members, some of whom are far more intelligent and far better educated than he is, without any discussion whatsoever.

    The Alter-paper is not published an put on hold, which is a very strange event in science, though indeed dr. Alter works for the NIH, which worjs for the US government. This is about that, and about a fine quotation from Dr. Johnson.
     

JULY: Meanwhile, things have been happening around XMRV: The NIH has a study that confirms the findings of the WPI published in October 2009, since undermined by fraudulent pseudoscience by Wessely and McClure in England and by Van der Meer and Kuppeveld in Holland, but very oddly the paper has been put on hold in June, and is not published for the time being, while the CDC does publish a study by a man called Switzer, not even properly scientifically qualified to do the study, that is supposed to show the NIH is mistaken (Bill Reeves is co-author).

Many patients with ME are quite upset, and with some justification, as something similar happened before, with a study by Elaine DeFreitas that seemed to point also to a retrovirus as the or a cause or part of the etiology of ME.

Then Patricia Carter aka Wildaisy, the legalese light that bought herself into co-ownership of ME-F, together with the incompetent bully CFS either becomes mad and hysterical or turns out very craftily as a troll, and starts calling for ME-patients to put their pictures on line and to give blood that may be infected with XMRV to American or English bloodbanks. I find that an appalling and immoral idea, and say so on ME-F, where I earlier have been opposed by someting freakish and neurotic in some silly po-mo study in Switzerland, that calls itself Awol, and that seems to specialize in writing BS and intentionally crudely offending whoever she disagrees with, including ME agenda (not fit to appear on ME-F or PR-F, according to the Awol-horror, because... ME agenda's English is too difficult for Awol's "severly cognitively impaired" brain, Awol writes) and also Cort Johnson on PR-F (a misogynist, she opines). She seems to be a troll or a neurotic to me, also since she "defends" her extraordinarily impolite posts on the ground that she is "severely cognitively impaired" (while writing some 500 posts within 5 weeks).

One of my guesses is that CDC-trolls are trying to manipulate persons with ME to behave publicly as hysterics and to break the law, so that again the XMRV-studies and real bio-medical science will be shelved for two decades "because patients with ME are clearly mad, as doctors Reeves, Jones, Wessely and White have been argueing since decades", and indeed I also guess that Patricia Carter, Awol, and CFS_Since_1998 are trolls and liars if not moral and intellectual idiots (sorry: very, very, very ordinary men).

I try to argue with Awol and Patricia Carter; get dealt with as if I am a piece of inhuman filth; state something about my background and special problems in Amsterdam; and then take a blast at the two leading trolling sickos of ME-F, namely its Owners And Creators, who also write or allow the most amazing CDC-trash by one of their favourite trolls, the nutcase or CDC-lawyer 'Eric_Johnson_from_I&I' who argues and is allowed to argue at great length on ME-F that in fact Reeves and Holmes and Wessely and White have been right all the time: ' "ME" is in fact neurasthenia.'

CFS_Since_1998 and Patricia Carter love that, protect it, and ban me from ME-F on July 18, and after that publish lying slander about me, namely that I have incited people with ME to put their pictures on line, whereas in fact the trolls, cheats and liars Patricia Carter and Awol tried to do so, while I warned against it. Besides, in my opinion Patricia Carter argues like a head-case, and is blessed with the graces and politeness of Dutch fascist mafiosi, at least to me. Since I have never criticized her before she proposed immoral illegalities, I suppose she has a hidden reason to discriminate me.

Meanwhile, and in fact since June, I have grown more ill, largely because I wrote a lot for PR-F and because there is a long heat-wave in Amsterdam, which I don't cope well with at all with ME. This keeps limiting me for the following months, in which therefore I also write less in NL.

    In contrast with the positive Alter etc. study, the negative CDC-study is published, and indeed Bill Reeves, who has been lying for decades about ME, is one of its authors, while its main author Switzer is not even properly academically qualified to do the research. This is my response to it.

    Professor Myra McClure probably has been had, used and abused by professor Wessely, unless she is as big a rotter as he is, which is probabilistically speaking improbable, but still does not want to admit she can make mistakes - so she makes more of them. This is a response of mine.

I initially try to explain things very fully and politely because I mistakenly assumed she is a physicist, whereas in fact she is a pomo student of pomo architecture with - she says herself - "very severe cognitive impairments", which I agree is quite true, alas.

    Here I am amused by a joke involving a picture of Einstein - which was naive, because the majority on ME-F seem to believe (and at least write as if they do) that once they see a picture of Einstein who writes "ME=XMRV", they know ME=XMRV.

I think the idea is immoral and stupid. A few on ME-F agree; most don't; and Bleijenberg's freaky troll again opines I am offensive to Dutch, which CFS_Since_1998, also an evil freak, and Patricia Carter don't do anything about, whereas no one else on ME-F opens his or her trap. I decide these are not my kind even if they have my illness; I am not going to be publicly offended by a morally sick intellectually degenerate Dutch fascist again; and pull my posts and stop writing for ME-F.

    My translation of my taped phone conversation with Amsterdam's Municipal Chief Order and Security, who hails from where most Amsterdam drugsdealers hail from (Curacao and Surinam), who much rather had me gassed, threatened with murder, and kept from sleeping than do her duty. The reason is that billions are illegaly made every year by drugsdealing in Amsterdam, protected by the mayors and aldermen. This is the mafia's protector and one of my eager evil willing torturers, still in function, all these 22 years of my pain and suffering, in which I was systematically denied all help and any compensation.

I contradict him, but hardly anyone seems to care, for "Eric" is "one of us", because he says he "has ME". So I get very angry.

AUGUST:  This month in NL is mostly given to the Lo/Alter-paper and its implications, about the MECFS-forum (where a bunch of impertinent liars moderate and administrate, who try to blacken me with lies while denying me the right to even see them), and it contains a number of translations of small essaus I wrote and published in Dutch in 1988/89, all of which are still relevant, and some of which, after 2w1 years, now can be seen to be almost prophetic in foresight - Mandarins with an IQ of 115:

Moronic academics; complete, half and threequarter charlatans as Masters of Art in psychology or sociology; academically titled pseudo-intellectuals who hardly know foreign languages and claim to be "too busy" to read; who cannot write, and do not speak good Dutch (of the kind of honourable Members of Parliament - an asylum filled with selfenamoured yahoos that unfortunately has room for only a few hundred minibrains); semi-scientific but heavily subsidized research that never yields anything but above average incomes for "scientists" of very average grocerly brains, and unreadable research reports in awful bureaucratic cant "to help the feminist movement, the trade union movement, and the environmental movement" (as the central aims of the University of Amsterdam were for many years) - in brief, The Netherlands will be governed by corrupt mandarins with an average IQ of 115. And the usual hypocritical impostures and backhanded greed, that is to say "in the name of our exemplary Dutch dumbocray, sorry: democracy".

Nothing new? Real science will become even rarer than it is, in an atmosphere filled with tenthousands, possinly hundreds of thousands Masters of Art of minimal brainsize and maximal greed - for an average IQ of 115 does not precisely exclude greed, ambition, intrigue and that delicious species-searches-species trade unionist mentality).

The cultural level of societies will sink until public mediawhores on the dreambox can move the population to any form of unreason. Public gangsters, frauds, parasites and eagerly upcoming dictators will be left free to do as they please - and the only social group that could have opposed them with rational arguments based on real knowledge and understanding of human civilization, will have been reduced to a set of stammering know-nothings, precisely of the level of people's parlementarians there is already.

Nothing new, I ask again? No, indeed: Virtually the only thing we do not have yet is a populist would-be dictator

that abuses the opportunity. For we have had already 25 years of postmodern education. And we live in  moronified society, that moronifies further incessantly.

Thanks to the present so called academic elite, that has let it happen while they parasited upon it: The present generation of university professors and lecturers. Après vous le déluge, quoi?

Thus I wrote in January 1989, 21 years before the depicted human horror grabbed power in Holland. He is a man who desires to put all European muslims "in camps", which means that he appears to have in mind an operation that is more than thrice the size of Eichmann's project, who likewise put semitic people "in camps". Happily for Mr. Wilders, all Dutchmen have been forced to registrate themselves and are forced to carry IDs, so it probably can be done within a month, and with the active collaboration of more than a million Dutch and the passive collaboration of almost all the rest, just as in WW II. And FWIW: Having been gassed in Amsterdam by mayor Ed van Thijn and his drugsmafiosi, I can assure the Dutch that - never fear! - being gassed with carbon-monoxide is quite painless, albeit a bit frightening while it happens.     Cort Johnson is The Owner And Creator (I cite his own billing of himself) of PR-F and Chas Shepherd is an English medical doctor with ME who advices the English MEA, so here we have the views of two prominent patients with ME (both A LOT healthier than I am, by the way). As a matter of fact, they explain the Lo-Alter material and its probable impact quite well.

    Eric_Johnson_from_I&I lies himself blue in the face about what he said about the causes of ME (and shows a curious likeness with another BS type that poses as ME-patient and calls itself '"eric_s": He informs PR-F constantly that he is in Switzerland, no in Spain, back to Switzerland, back to Spain, and pretends legalese knowledge, which he certaintly can't clearly articulate). Also, I say a little about Awol (the born partner for either Eric) and some other things.
  • Aug 29:  ME + me :  Meditation on me & ME + National Archives (British)
    It is a curious fact that the British government has made a number of documents that concern ME and research about ME forbidden to the public until the year 2071, when anyone who did anything criminal will be long and safely dead, and it is also a curious fact, repeatedly raised on patients forums, that there might be a relation between ME and chemical or biological warfare (such as a virus escaped from a military hospital where it was developed with the aim of laming a whole civilian population - for example). I don't think this matter of thing is fruitfully speculated about at length (there simply is no conclusive evidence available, perhaps since it has been hidden until 2071) but it is a curious fact that documents relating to a disease are classified forbidden reading for three generations. Prima facie, this is either bureaucratic insanity or a way to hide major crimes by the British Government or British Military.

    Even professor Van der Meer, the would be medical genius from Radboud Universiteit Nijmegen, admits there might be something to the Lo/Alter paper and XMRV (which he has been denying for a year), and indeed dr. Alter is all in the way of medical science and research that dr. Van der Meer is not. This also summarizes and links to a Dutch TV-program about the subject.

SEPTEMBER: This month had rather a lot of text about backgrounds of ME. It starts with a reference to a very good discussion between a young Australian with ME and prof. Wessely, who tried his usual bamboozling tricks but got thoroughly quashed. There is interesting (and frightening) matter about the DSM-5; a nice comparison of Feyman on Cargo-Cult Science and Wessely's pseudoscience; a little about me; and a reaction of mine to a very strange post by Ms. Goudsmit, who knows of me, my sites and my diplomas since many years, but wrote as if she doesn't and anyway as if my site is not worth reading, and my opinions hardly sane. Being a psychologist educated at the same time at the same university as she was, but with better marks than she made, I fear it is all projection. Even so, it is displeasant, to which one must add the fact that she - as I did not know till very recently - has been harassing people with ME she disagrees with by threats of her - A Doctor Of Clinical Psychology - going to the British police, and indeed has done so and forced ill people to court.

  • Sep 2:    ME + me :  Some observations on ME and ME-forums
    The brief of it is that ME-forums are not fit for advocacy, but are fit for socializing. The  main reason is known as "regression to the mean" among statistically informed folks; another important reason is that trolls, administrators and moderators collectively take care that almost anybody who can write and who knows science gets discriminated, and that rational public debate is made impossible.

I think that is very unwise, but then dear Ellen did not study philosophy and has said quite a few quite unwise and unkind things, I found out since January.

    This is about mathematics and about a human type the Dutch love in droves of millions: A careerist economic refugee who is a black woman who looks fairly well, and lies as if it is printed in heaven about ideals. I explain why I disapprove.

P.S.  And today is October 21, so I have prepared a fair overview of what I wrote this year on ME/CFS. I will upload my father's story about German concentration-camps in English tomorrow, probably, and indeed both this file and that translation have a point that will be later revealed. What also has to wait is making corrections in the above, though the links have been verified to work for the most part.

If anyone wrote anything like the above on ME/CFS I'd like to know who it is: I don't know of anyone like me, which indeed also was the case before I got EBV and then ME. This is not to say that there are no fine sites about ME, for there are, but only to say that the fine sites about ME that I have found are not written and argued like I write and argue, indeed normally for quite good reasons, having to do with my being a philosopher and psychologist.
